What each client's billings are made of

Each client's billings stacked into the parts that make them up: gross profit at the base, then labour cost, direct cost and re-billed ad spend on top. Where the ad-spend band dominates the bar and the gross-profit base is thin, most of what the client bills is pass-through media money, not profit kept.

The same clients ranked by what they earn per hour of the team's time. This is the one scale that compares a large retainer and a small project fairly.

The spread runs from R-146 to R621 per hour, averaging R398.
